Blorch B/W tier *Testing phase*

It's highly different than the Smogon tiers so the edits aren't specifically mentioned, this tier is more based on use so the matches here don't end up just being between a very few Pokemon as with the 5th gen there were introduced logical choices to use. These choices may not be entirely game-breaking, but they do create an apathy to some of the Pokemon they replaced. For example Ferrothorn is basically just plain better than Forretress and in previous meta-games the role Forretress performed could be effectively performed by multiple Pokemon even though Forretress was the most prominent each alternative brought something unique when they were used over Forretress. The introduction of Ferrothorn exaggerates the once small gap to such a depth that the role Forretress and his substitutes is almost always performed by Ferrothorn. This is why Ferrothorn is ranked as a top tier Pokemon while not outwardly banned it is likely that in the tournaments here he will not be allowed as the most common gameplay will take place from the High tier and under this is not to punish those who like the top tier Pokemon but rather to encourage an enviroment that people won't get sick of after 3 matches. We the staff are not playing favorites as if you ask our members Scizor and Darkrai are some of the staff's favorite pokemon and as you can see they are also banned.

why are these banned though?

Check them before asking it does say to have a valid point when asking, not "I'm to lazy to look them up and think about it so I'll just see if you'll tell me". -_-
